Tim Wolfe

Tim Wolfe has always been an avid naturalist and outdoorsman. His love of art and nature began at an early age. Growing up in rural Beaver County , Pennsylvania , he spent every spare moment outdoors - walking the woods and meadows with his father, always observing and sketching anything that caught his eye. Those early experiences deepened his passion for the natural world and influenced the direction his life has taken.

Tim's love of nature led him to study animal anatomy in Janesville , Wisconsin . In 1983, he moved to Charlotte , North Carolina where he continued his education in Commercial Art/Advertising Design. He has always considered nature his greatest teacher, and even then he spent as much time as possible outdoors. While enrolled as an art student, he began working as an assistant to Dr. Thomas F. Clark of Davidson , NC , a world renown sculptor known for his gnomes and woodspirits. Dr. Clark introduced Tim to the exciting world of sculpture and his passion for nature inevitably became the focus of his artwork.
